Students may major and minor in any two disciplines from the Scarborough School of Business and Communication with permission from the program faculty (typically, only one course can count for both the major and the minor).
A minor in communication consists of five courses:
|COMM 10100||FOUNDATIONS OF PUBLIC COMMUN||4|
|COMM 30000||HUMAN COMMUNICATION THEORY||4|
|Select a minimum of three additional COMM courses 1||9-12|
Selected from any area of concentration and/or from the list of general electives for the major
The additional courses must be chosen in consultation with a communication faculty member to ensure they represent a coherent study of communication. Students who minor in communication must complete COMM 10100 FOUNDATIONS OF PUBLIC COMMUN and COMM 30000 HUMAN COMMUNICATION THEORY in sequential order. (Students must consult with and receive approval from a communication faculty member if COMM 10100 and COMM 30000 need to be taken out of order.)
