The technology facilities at Hiram College include the Ellucian Banner software package for administrative use, and a variety of workstations and servers for file storage, email, word processing, and general office automation. These computers are networked to all campus buildings and offices. Wireless connectivity to the campus network is available in all administrative and academic buildings. The residence hall network is a high-speed wireless network covering both inside and outside the residence hall buildings. It is supported 24x7x365 by a third party that specializes in residence hall networks. Personal computers are available for student use in computer labs located in a variety of buildings across campus. All students are encouraged to use their laptops and other computer facilities for their academic work. The Technology Center Help Desk, located on the lower level of the Hiram College Library, assists our faculty, staff, and students with all technology integral to Hiram College.
